The service
What exactly do you do for me?
We find roles that match your criteria, prepare a tailored resumé and cover letter for each one, answer the screening questions from your verified information, submit the application, and track everything that happens afterwards. Replies, interviews, offers.
How many applications will I get?
We run to a target of a hundred or more a month, and there is no cap and no per-application charge. That number is a standard of effort, not a quota to be filled: every application still has to clear your seniority, salary floor, location and hard constraints before it goes out. A broad senior search will comfortably pass the target; a narrow one in a small market may not, and in that week we would rather send you eight that are right than forty that spend your name to hit a figure.
Is this for people who are out of work?
Usually not. Most of our clients are employed, well paid and rather good at what they do — which is precisely the problem, because a serious search wants unbroken hours every week for months, taken from the job they are still being excellent at. Changing roles is also where the meaningful pay rises live: compensation is set at the moment of hire, and the market resets it far more generously than an annual review does. Handing the search over is the same instinct that has you hire an accountant rather than teach yourself tax law.
Who writes my applications?
A person on our team who is assigned to your search. We use software to find roles and keep the record straight, but a human prepares and checks every application.
Do you use AI?
Yes, as an assistant: to summarise postings, draft first passes, and rank matches. It never invents facts, never submits anything, and never has the last word. A person reviews everything before it goes out.
Do I have to approve each application?
That is the default. You can also set rules so anything matching your criteria goes automatically, or hand over full trust. You can switch between these at any time from your account.
What if a form asks something you do not know?
The application stops and we ask you. We do not guess, and we never invent experience, education, certifications, employment history, or references. Your answer is saved so the question is asked only once.
Money and the term
What does it cost?
$250 per month. No setup fee, no per-application charge, and no commission on your salary. One retainer, one named specialist, and a hundred or more considered applications a month.
Is there a minimum term?
None. The service runs month to month and the only sum you are ever committed to is the month you are in. Conclude whenever you wish, and a one-time closing fee of $250 applies when you do — the same figure whenever you leave.
What if I get a job in month two?
Congratulations — that is the outcome we are hired for. The $250 closing fee still applies, as it does whenever an engagement concludes and whatever the reason. We would rather name one honest figure now than have you meet it on a statement later.
Does it get cheaper, or dearer, the longer I stay?
Neither. It is the same monthly figure and the same one-time closing fee at month twelve as at month one. There is no loyalty discount and no penalty for changing your mind early, because we would rather you stayed for the work than for the arithmetic.
Can I get a refund?
If you conclude within three days of your first payment and we have not yet submitted an application for you, we refund that payment in full and set the closing fee aside. After that, monthly payments are for work already performed and are not refundable. The full policy is on the refunds page.
Do you charge employers?
No. We take no fee or commission from any employer, which is what keeps our advice to you honest.
Access and privacy
Do you need my email password?
No, and we will never ask for it. Your search gets its own dedicated inbox. Recruiter mail arrives there, appears in JaloApply, and forwards to your real address.
Will recruiters know you applied for me?
Applications are submitted in your name, because they are your applications. That is what you authorize us to do. We never pretend to be you in conversation. If a recruiter wants to talk, they talk to you.
Who at JaloApply can see my information?
Only the staff assigned to your search, and only what they need. Anything sensitive is encrypted and every access to it is logged. You can ask for that log.
Can I get my data back or delete it?
Yes. Ask and we will export everything we hold about you, or delete it, subject to the records we are legally required to keep. See the privacy policy for the detail.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
We stop applying immediately, keep your record for as long as the privacy policy states, and delete it on request.
Still not sure?
Ask us anything before you pay. We would rather talk you out of it than take money from someone the service does not suit.
